When Lee Ellis–Colonel, USAF (Ret.)–contacted me, he was designing his speech for a dynamic audience–the national conference for the Collegegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Starting weeks ahead, we strengthened his content and sharpened his delivery, using video to assess his presentation progress.
Speaking about his Vietnam War experiences–being shot down in 1967 (after flying 53 combat mission) and held captive for five and a half years–he titled his talk, “Building Strength from the Inside Out.”
When our Speech Coaching sessions concluded, Lee offered his brief video testimonial about my services. Watch the video at the top of this blog page.
LEE’S REPORT ABOUT THE EVENT
Immediately after the conference in Kansas City, Lee drove to Iowa to visit a long-time military associate and friend. On his way, he called to tell me that his audience responded enthusiastically to his presentation–not only during his speech, but afterward when they came by his exhibit booth. As his Speech Coach, I was proud of his accomplishment–and grateful for the opportunity to work with him.
