In case you’re not familiar with Arthur Godfrey, he was the undisputed top broadcaster on both radio and TV during their formative years. Nicknamed “The Old Redhead,” he garnered a vast fan base and through his talent shows launched the careers of many performers–with some of them eventually attaining celebrity status.
