What Separates Great Speakers from the Average?

Great Speakers Paint Word Pictures from Bill Lampton, Ph.D. on Vimeo.

Have you ever wondered why some speakers do just an average job of keeping an audience’s attention, while other speakers keep listeners enthralled with their message? Watch the brief video above, which tells what separates the great presenters from the good ones.

Bobby Peck–Super Teammate at Longstreet Cafe

Bobby Peck

After the hectic morning rush at Longstreet Cafe–with hundreds of people coming in for a delicious breakfast (and many others driving through to pick up a to-go meal)–I was lucky enough to chat a couple of minutes with Bobby Peck, whose big smile greets me and everybody else who enjoys the cafe daily. Bobby is one of the cafe’s friendly staff who greets customers, and also works very hard to assure top quality and a great experience for diners.

Cafe owner Tim Bunch told me that he and Bobby have worked together in the restaurant business for 30 years. As you can guess, they have forged a strong partnership, whose results please diners every day. In fact, the cafe goes well beyond standard customer service, providing top-level “customer care.”

My thanks to this dynamic duo for making Longstreet Cafe the premier restaurant for food and hospitality in northeast Georgia--three meals a day, six days a week!

“STAY TUNED”
As media broadcasters say. . .”stay tuned.” Starting soon, I will host “Cafe Conversations” at Longstreet Cafe. Several times every week, I will video my interviews with the cafe’s customers and staff. Each interview will play on the cafe’s TV set periodically throughout the day. Also, you’ll be able to watch “Cafe Conversations” on You Tube, when you happen to miss a day at the cafe (which I am sure you rarely do if you live in this area).

By watching “Cafe Conversations,” you’ll hear from some of the most successful and fascinating people you could find anywhere.
