Recently I watched Chicopee Woods golf teaching pro Jeff Frasier practice. For more than 20 minutes, I studied his stance, grip, backswing, tempo, balance, and more. Why? Because he’s an expert at what I want to do better.
Whatever skill you want to improve (swimming, running, speaking, singing, painting, woodworking, modeling, dancing), pay close attention to those who make it look easy. You’ll absorb some of their best traits. That’s why centuries ago workers learned their craft by becoming apprentices.
WHO ARE YOU WATCHING AS A GOOD ROLE MODEL?
I’d like to know who you are watching in action because you consider them a good role model. And what have you learned from them that has improved your performance?
Note: As I said above, we absorb some of their traits. We don’t imitate them exactly, because we each have our own talents and style, so the fit wouldn’t be perfect.
